1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BookSyncer (the "Service"), operated by BookSyncer ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
BookSyncer connects your Stripe account and your e-conomic agreement and automatically records your Stripe activity — invoices, payments, fees, refunds and payouts — as entries in e-conomic, according to the configuration you set. The Service is a bookkeeping automation tool; it does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the accounts, VAT rules and other settings you configure.
- You are responsible for reviewing the entries the Service produces and for your own compliance with applicable accounting and tax law.
- You must have the authority to connect the Stripe and e-conomic accounts you connect.
- You must keep your account credentials secure.
4. Third-party services
The Service integrates with Stripe and e-conomic. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for changes, outages or errors in third-party services.
5. Plans, billing and trials
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Paid plans include a 14-day trial. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Plan limits are described on our pricing page.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of applicable law.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties. You remain responsible for verifying the correctness of your books and filings. The Service is an aid, not a substitute for professional judgment.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in advance where required.
